Ah, thanks! Seems like it's out of print, though. I'll check in with my other local yaoi pals. TheYaoiReview might have it --but whether she lets me touch her pristine copies of yaoi, though, is something only the yaoi gods know for sure... ;-)
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('604','Alex Woolfson','<a href=\'#comment-600\' rel=\"nofollow\">@daniyagami<\/a> - \r\n\r\nAh, thanks!
Oh, Bun (the main character) is definitely a guy and not a "girlish uke". He is awesome, he is in love with a former police officer but he keeps other lovers too. The whole story is awesome, one of his friends is a tattoo artist, he had a boyfriend who was a chief de cuisine, and all the time he is trying to keep his relationship with the guy who he really loves (who sometimes is a jerk LOL). Bun works as a handyman and definitely is a guy in all senses. Not/love was printed in US

but you can download a scanlation (of course):

Hello daniyagami! Thanks for commenting -- and thanks for the rec. I'll keep an eye out for the Walkers series -- hopefully a U.S. publisher will pick it up. I know a lot of folks really like the Miyamoto-sensei's work -- and I could see a lot of that promise in Say Please.

So, tell me, what is it about the Walkers series that you think would appeal to me? :-)
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('598','Alex Woolfson','<a href=\'#comment-591\' rel=\"nofollow\">@daniyagami<\/a> - \r\n\r\nHello daniyagami!
You should try to read Hydra (my fav), Rules (it´s a long serie, Lovers and Souls, one of the episodes was published in US) or Not Love (from the Walkers series, something tells me that you´re going to love this one). Say Please is one of the weakest works of Kano Miyamoto. Of course there are scanlations floating around of all these works (is how I read it, my country is not strong in yaoi publications). It worths the reading, she is not conventional at all. (Something really tells me that you are going to love the Walkers serie).
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('591','daniyagami','You should try to read Hydra (my fav), Rules (it´s a long serie, Lovers and Souls, one of the episodes was published in US) or Not Love (from the Walkers series, something tells me that you´re going to love this one).
Hello ButterflyFomori :-)

I'm sorry for the delay in your comment showing up -- for some reason Wordpress decided to send it to moderation. (Is it a bug or a new feature of the upgrade I just did? Hmmm, maybe it's because of the multiple Web sites in your comment? Guess I'll need to find out!)

Anyway, I'm really glad you like the layout of my reviews and find them straightforward. That's just what I'm going for. I respect those reviewers who are able to give letter grades to books, but for me, I find it much more useful to look at a potential buy with those categories in mind. I'm not sure I could give another creator a letter grade on their work, anyway... ::blush::

Please let me know what you think of Say Please once you've read it (and [from the "duplicate" comment] it sounds like if you like it, you'll buy it, so good on you!). I will keep an eye out for "Escape" if you feel it's one of her stronger works -- thanks for the rec!

And hey, hope you enjoyed that toast!

(I just made a comment similar to the one below, and it didn't go through: most likely a user error. So, i apologize in advance if another comment, similar to this one shows up somewhere.)
I like the way you lay out your reviews with straightforward categories. It makes for easy reading that is pleasurable and understandable. Too often, I get lost in other reviewer's stream-of-consciousness styles of writing. (I have enough trouble with my own.)
Your review was adept at pinpointing info that i would care about. And, after reading a work by the same mangaka, we seem to be on the same page.
Inspired by you, I set out to check into Kano Miyamoto, albeit in scanlation form since you advise no hard earn cash being put down.
I enjoyed ' Escape,' a one-shot scanlated by Vices and Devices. Although I had my reservations about the ending, I rated it 8.5 out of 10. I think she has a lot of potential.
Thanks for the great reading material while having my coffee and toast. Waaaay better than a morning newspaper.
Reply - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('243','ButterflyFomori','(I just made a comment similar to the one below, and it didn\'t go through: most likely a user error.
