Hmm… Well, that's no good. I can see that you are signed up on the list and my web host should have sent you a welcome message with the link to the comic. Could it have gotten lost in a spam folder? (If you have a spam filter, please make sure that announce_list at yaoi911.com has been added to your whitelist.) But maybe there was a glitch with my hosting provider's automatic email. I've checked the Yaoi 911 News email list and didn't find your email on it. Please make sure that you've filled out the email fields on THIS page to get the link to the comic.
Once you fill them out, you will be sent a "Confirmation" email that has a link to click on to confirm that it really was you that filled out the form. Once you click on that, a second "Welcome to Yaoi 911 News" email will be sent to you with the link to the comic.

So, I've tried adding your hotmail email address again to the list — because I still don't see your email on there — hopefully third times the charm. Please double-check your spam folder — the Confirmation Email should have been sent…

Well, actually I'm working right now on another free-comic for posting called "Unfinished Business" — it's a little sexier, a little more real-world, but still ultimately about a cute guy saving the guy he loves, so still Yaoi 911™.
The problem is I have really high-standards for the art (and, of course, the writing) and you can't rush that — esp. when you're an independent publisher like I am. The good news is that I'm working with really great artists, so I'm really happy with the work. But having high standards makes it tough to predict when exactly a comic will be ready to be hatched. And I hate to make promises that I can't be sure I'll be able to keep.
The truth is, I'd rather have a comic out there I'm really happy with that takes a year to make, then one I got out in a few months that I think is just ok. Hopefully, my readers will agree with that logic and share my patience. (Or madness, depending on your perspective… :-p )
But — in answer to your question — if all goes well, I should have this free comic out by the summer and the printed book should be ready for sale not too long after that. I know I've been a little quiet on this blog, but it's just been because I've been very busy behind the scenes working on the comics. When the oven door is closed, nobody sees the baking…

Thanks for your interest in our work.
I've checked for your email address on the list, however, and it's not showing up. Did you fill out the form on this page — the free comic page?
When you fill out the form on this page, you'll be brought to a new page which will say "YourEmailAddress has been sent email instructions to complete the subscription process to this list (announce_list@yaoi911.com)!".
Then you'll then be sent a confirmation email for you to join the list (sorry for the extra hassle — my webhost wants to make sure that you REALLY want to join and I'm not spamming you).
If you click the link provided in the Confirmation Email, the very next email includes the link to the free comic.
Is that what happened?
Let me know and if you're still having trouble, I'll be happy to troubleshoot for you…
